Dan began his legal career in Sandusky over 43 years ago. In 2008 he opened his office at its current location, 225 Meigs Street in Sandusky. Over the years, Dan has helped hundreds of clients reach their real estate and business goals.

Upon moving his law office to its Meigs Street location, Dan immediately fell in love with the area. The result led to the purchase of the building next door, one of Sandusky’s historic landmarks, Herb’s Bait Shop. A few years later, the idea of a brewery struck Dan as Sandusky did not have one at the time. After 5 years of planning and development, the Bait House Brewery opened its doors on August 3, 2018. Since then, the Brewery has become a highly popular bar and eatery, winning numerous awards in the Firelands Best of the Best Awards as Best Local Craft Brewery, Best Bar, and Best Happy Hour.

Bait House Bungalows, like Bait House Brewery, is the direct result of Dan’s love of Sandusky’s eastside. In 2013, Dan purchased the home on the other side of his law office at 631 E. Washington St. Since then, he has purchased the three adjacent homes going west on Washington. The concept of creating short term vacation rentals quickly began to come to fruition as the downtown Sandusky area continued to flourish, and Bait House Bungalows was born. The homes are currently being remodeled in bright beachy colors and will be available for short term rentals in the near future under the Bait House Bungalows banner.
